The best thing about finishing an assessment: the opportunity to show what you know, creatively!
So, we did our Google Form quiz on the possessive adjectives, and careful consideration of gender and number. This is pretty complicated in French! How might we create with what we know, for others to practice?
Fonseca's rapid-fire challenge:
20 minutes: individual or group
get an idea: song, game, illustration, graphic organizer
stay on target: focus on the possessive adjectives. By way of your creation, we should be able to practice our skills.
create the prototype: it doesn't have to be perfect. 5 minutes for brainstorming and 15 for execution leads to a short presentation.
Below are the students' prototype presentations. Although they are presented in English, the goal was to create a lasting, creative element that might be useful in learning.

Quel bonheur... en groupes!!
5th graders enjoyed the creative process of interviewing a celebrity. Using Nash Grier's interview of his little sister (!!) as inspiration, our small groups created interviews that
1: went from 2nd person (questions) to 1st person (answers)
2: successfully used possessive adjectives (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
3: used a variety of interrogatives, and
4: had a "job" for each person in the group, including director/editor.

Les Adjectifs Possessifs
In French, there are more things to consider than just "my, your, our, their" to identify possession. In fact, in our French class, we identify these as adjectives which reminds us that they must agree with the nouns they modify, in number and gender.
<-------Click to enlarge the image to the left to see the easy organizer for this.
Below, please enjoy a sampling of our student-created scenarios. The task: to show possession in a variety of ways, in a creative conversation. Students were given ONE class period to form pairs/groups, create a scenario, and deliver it at the next class time. Although there are some small errors, the scenarios show mastery of the targeted grammar concept. BRAVO, 5ème ANNEE!!
