Below are some examples we used in class, when talking about "les produits de toilette" within the context of commercials. Students went on to do do radio advertisements for a shampoo, and we are now working on our inventive project: UN NOUVEAU PRODUIT DE TOILETTE! TV commercials to come soon!

We are doing some extensive work with verbs. To help us all keep it straight, please look at this powerpoint, which I think is helpful, HERE.
Because language acquisition occurs when students see and use familiar vocabulary in a variety of contexts, fifth graders are practicing what they can do with the verb "être," to be, in conjunction with a variety of adjectives and virtues. You can get the adjectives here. In this review-fusion, we began a bit simply with short sentences. Students began to outdo or top one another with these, by creating improvised scenarios. Soon they will be raising the level of discourse, extending it to school life.
